Special Events: Yom Ha'aztmaut Israel Independence Day Community-Wide Celebration Please join us as the New Orleans Jewish Community celebrates Israel’s 60th Anniversary! The event will include an Israeli style dinner catered by Casablanca Restaurant, a concert featuring the popular Israel singing group, “Kolot”, and “Walk the Land”, a community walk in the neighborhood commemorating Israel at 60. Those participating in “Walk the Land” will receive a free t-shirt, water bottle and sling sack (while supplies last).
