Holocaust Memorial Program

Yom Hashoah, the Holocaust Memorial program, will be commemorated again this year. Please join us on Thursday, May 1 for this very important program in which we remember the loved ones lost in the Holocaust, and honor the Survivors.
Through the Yom Hashoah Memorial Program, our local Holocaust Survivors as well as educators strive to teach the public about the Holocaust, but also to teach the importance of acceptance of differences, and tolerance of others, with the hope that what happened during World War II will never happen again. Members of the local Holocaust Survivors group, The New American Social Club, take the primary lead in this endeavor by painstakingly recalling their own experiences and seeking to alleviate the atrocities of hate.
